Loomii Caalumaa Fufaa is from Ambo town, in the Southwest Shewa zone. As a child, she was living in someone else's house there. Her family say that from there she either went missing or left on her own, accounts are unclear. She was 11 years old at the time. After some time, the family heard that she had been taken to Finfinnee (Addis Ababa), though they have not been able to confirm exactly where. Even a small memory, a face recognised, a name heard in passing, or a conversation, could matter greatly to her family. They are still waiting for news of Loomii.
