One of his arms is missing from the elbow down, since birth.
Mr. Tasfaa Shunaa, son of Mrs. Dammituu Gonjee, previously lived in Qellem Wallagga Zone, Muggii town, Dallaa Shoor neighborhood. In 1989 by the Ethiopian Calendar (1997 by the Western calendar), when he was 22 years old, he left peacefully for Finfinnee (Addis Ababa). After he left, contact with his family was cut off; to this day his whereabouts remain unknown. Distinguishing mark: one of his hands has a congenital deformity at the elbow. Today he would be over 50 years old. His mother and family have been searching for him for 28 full years. Missing From Ethiopia stands with them. No family should have to search alone. We respectfully request that anyone who knows him in Finfinnee, anyone from the Qellem Wallagga community living in Finfinnee who has seen him, or anyone who has any information, no matter how small, share it with us through the information form on this page.
